Rs 50,000 each penalty imposed on manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer for selling substandard ginger garlic paste

Digital Goa, Mar 19 – Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration has informed that the Additional District Magistrate (North) has imposed a Rs 50,000 penalty each on M/s Shailendra Rishi Raj Industries India (I) Pvt. Ltd, Manglore and Rajaneesh, nominee. Gangadhar Poojarry (Wholesaler) M/s Ganga Enterprises, H. No. 51/22-A, Churchwada, Corlim, Tiswadi and Praveen Kumar (Retailer) M/s Balaji Super Market, Betim, Reis Magos, Bardez . They were allegedly found selling substandard ginger garlic paste with acetic acid levels (0.55%) below permissible limits, informed FDA
