Panaji: Some unknown persons stole away around 130 metres of electrical cable worth over Rs 1.91 lakh that was kept in the open near football ground at Fondvem, Ribandar.
The cable was cut from the drum, informed the police. The incident occurred in the early
hours of Thursday, informed the Old Goa police, adding that an FIR has been registered against unknown persons.
The police said that a complaint in this regard was lodged by Vinod Tukade. PSI Viraj Dhawaskar is investigating the case.
