Digital Goa, Oct 30 – A lady from Nepal was arrested by Panaji police for allegedly strangulating her 5-year-old son to death at their rented room at Taleigao. The accused identified as 25-year-old Sunita Rani strangulated the neck of her own child using ligature material. The crime was effected at around 5 am in the morning by the lady at their rented room at Oitem, Taleigao on Oct 29. She was arrested by Panaji police today. Cases have been registered against her under Goa Children’s Act and IPC. Motive of the crime is being investigated.
