Digital Goa, Oct 7 – Climbing on bridge pillars seems to have become a regular activity in Goa in the recent times. A man who had climbed on the Atal Setu Pillar near Panaji bus stand had to be rescued with a crane after he sought help from passersby as he was having difficulty in climbing down. A similar incident was reported at Dabolim flyover last month wherein a woman had managed to perch herself atop one of the pillars and had to be rescued by fire force personnel.
