Digital Goa , Oct 17 – A common notice has been issued to 1245 people who have been recruited for various posts at DHS and GMC Hospital, through advertisement in print media today that the petition challenging their recruitment is posted for orders and directions on Wednesday, Oct 19. Shailendra Velingkar has filed a PIL writ petition in the matter alleging scam in recruitment. The notice issued by Velingkar’s lawyer lists the names of 1245 selected candidates including Nurses -631, Multitasking staff(MTS) – 314, LDC -104, medical record clerk 18, storekeeper -5, Junior stenographer – 2 , Light Vehicle driver – 2, junior technician staff- 41, dialysis technicians – 12 , barber -2 , ECG technicians – 7, laboratory assistants – 7, laboratory technicians – 10 , Medico Social Worker -14, occupation therapists -12, orthopedic assistant- 5, Pharmacist staff – 26, Physiotherapists -12, Radiography technicians-11, senior technicians-9, speech language pathologist – 1 . The Court has permitted publication of public notice by the petitioner agreeing that it was not possible to send personal notices to the large number of recruits.
