Digital Goa, Oct 10 – All roads in the state are likely to be under camera surveillance within next 2-3 months, asserted Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho. He said that the project will be taken up on Public Private Partnership(PPP) mode. “On a trial basis such cameras were installed on CHOGM. The cameras were able to capture details of vehicles violating traffic rules during day as well as night time,” he asserted.
Existing licenses of Rent-a-bike operators will be renewed and new licences will be given only to those bike owners who keep crash helmets with them for use by the pillion rider.
