Digital Goa, Oct 16 – The bye elections for three Zilla Panchayats constituencies of Cortalim, Davorlim and Reis Magos were held today. All the three constituencies received poor response with average voting percentage of just 46.66 %. 25,905 of the 55,519 voters turned up to cast their votes . Constituency wise voting percentage is as follows – Reis Magos -43,94 %, Davorlim – 50.52 % and Cortalim – 45.07%. The counting of votes is scheduled to be held on October 18, 2022 (Tuesday) from 8 a.m. onwards at notified counting centres. Total 15 candidates are in fray, Reis Magos 4 , Davorlim – 7 and Cortalim – 4.
