Digital Goa, Sept 26 – Two persons, one of whom is a govt employee has been arrested for alleged abducting and robbing a network surveyor at Colvale. The accused are identified as 49-year-old Milind Naik from Hasapur, Pernem who works at ITI Peddem and 29-year-old Prakash Shetgaonkar from Colvale. Police have recovered 2 tabs and cash, together worth around Rs 86,000. The two-wheeler and car used to commit the crime has also been attached. The incident occurred yesterday evening, wherein the surveyor was abducted on scooter and then made to sit in a car near Colvale jail. The accused duo took away 2 tabs worth around Rs 40,000 each from the victim and also made him transfer money using Google pay to the account of one of the accused. Acting on the complaint of the victim, police traced the mobile used to receive Google Pay payment and nabbed the accused.
