Digital Goa, Sept 20 – Margao Municipal Council(MMC) reelections will be held on Sept 23, informed newly elected MMC Chairperson Ghanashyam Shirodkar. A notice to this effect has been issued to him by Directorate of Municipal Administration(DMA), he added. BJP and Digambar Kamat group had yesterday moved a no confidence motion against Shirodkar, just 3 days after he got elected to the post. Fifteen councilors of Digambar Kamat and BJP camp have signed the no confidence motion which was submitted in the DMA.
