Digital Goa, Sept 9 – Tourism Dept is in the process of formulating a mechanism to ensure that every activity related to Tourism Industry will need NOC from the department. This will be done to define and say that the activity is proper and legal, informed Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte. Although Hotels and Restaurants inside Hotels need to take NOC from the Tourism Dept, there is no such compulsion for standalone restaurants, he informed. “We are getting that thing in place. There was a gap here,” he added. He was speaking to media person in the context of demolition of Curlies Night Club, Bar & Restaurant. The demolition sends a strong message that we will not go and compromise with illegalities which are happening on the beach belt, he asserted.
