Digital Goa, Sept 9 – Goa govt authorities continued demolition of Curlies Night Club, Bar & Restaurant which was not within the ambit of the Supreme Court stay order issued today. The apex court had given stay to the demolition order pertaining to survey number 42/10 issued by GCZMA and upheld by NGT yesterday. SC had however made it clear that if there are unauthorized constructions in land other than the specified survey number, they can certainly be demolished. In accordance with this, around 40 labourers were deployed to carry out demolition in survey numbers 42/11 and 42/9. Demolition is also likely to be carried out in Curlies properties bearing survey numbers 45/19 and 45/41. The demolition is being carried out amid heavy police protection.
