Digital Goa, Aug 25 – Goa DGP is monitoring the investigation in BJP leader, Actress and content creator Sonali Phogat’s death case and will issue a statement by today evening, informed CM Pramod Sawant today. Phogat’s family has given consent to conduct the actress-politician’s autopsy on the condition that the process be videographed. The procedure has begun at Goa Medical College and Hospital. Police said a board of doctors is conducting the autopsy. Family members said that they have given consent to the autopsy because their lawyers and doctors suggested that after 72 hours, the body will degrade further. “If we are not satisfied with this procedure and what the doctors say, then we will again get the procedure done in Delhi,” they added. Sonali had died at a resort in Anjuna on Aug 23 morning allegedly due to cardiac arrest. IPC section 302 (Punishment for murder) is likely to be added to the FIR lodged at Anjuna Police station according to sources
