Digital Goa, July 4- Incessant rain has caused major damage across the state today with widespread reports of uprooting of trees, snapping of wires and flooding of roads are reported. Following are few incidents reported today:
Konkan railway track near Vaibhav Wadi , Sindhudurg was submerged. No trains have been cancelled as yet however trains are running very slow in this area.
Part of wall of PWD sewerage treatment plant collapsed at Baina. Three two-wheelers parked near the wall collapsed.
Several houses were flooded at Varkhand, Poroskode in Pernem after water mixed with mud washed away from Mopa airport site.
Underpass near Goa Medical College Bambollim was flooded leading to closing of the underpass for traffic
