Digital Goa, July 1 – Revolutionary Goan MLA Viresh Borkar has issued notice to the office of the speaker seeking to introduce the private member bill, the Person of Goan Origin(POGO) Bill 2022. The Bill aims to protect the rights of The Persons of Goan Origin(POGO) in respect of employment, benefits of government schemes, lease, transfer of comunidade land, acquired by the Government land for commercial purposes, their right to change their names and surnames and to make certain other provisions connected therewith, states the notice.
