Waterfront area around Raj Bhavan notified as Prohibited Zone on June 14 & 15 in view of VVIP visits

Digital Goa, June 9 – In view of the VVIPs visit to Goa from June 14 to June 15 and their stay at Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, the waterfront area (upto 500 mtrs. from the shore) around Raj Bhavan has been notified as “PROHIBITED ZONE” for all Vessels during the above period. “Therefore, all owners/master of the barges, passenger launches, ferry boats, tmdels of fishing trawlers and operators of the mechanized and non mechanized crafts not to ply including the tourist boats/watersports boats, jetski, etc. are hereby not permitted in the 500 mtrs. of the prohibited zone,” states a notice to mariners issued by Captain of Ports.
