Digital Goa, June 7 – A tourist from Mumbai has been arrested for assaulting staff of 108 ambulance under the influence of alcohol. Mapusa police informed that the accused identified as Manprit Singh was riding pillion on a bike that met with self-accident at Calangute, yesterday night. The rider was seriously injured and while he was being shifted to GMC in 108, the accused who was under the influence of alcohol allegedly attacked the nurse on duty inside the 108 ambulance. He also assaulted the ambulance driver, informed police. The accused was arrested after admitting the injured rider at the hospital.
