Digital Goa, June 2 – Several roads in Panaji are being developed as Smart Roads by GSUDA, as part of Smart City Mission, by laying of new utilities along the dedicated utility corridor. As part of the project, all overhead lines will be laid underground so that no cables and electric posts could be seen on either side of roads. The other features would include LED streetlights , footpaths, dedicated cycle tracks etc. In view of this all Private Service Operators whose cable have been asked to get in touch with GSUDA immediately. Roads to be taken up for development under the project within the jurisdiction of Corporation of the City of Panaji include Hotel Goa International to Taj Vivanta, Bal-Bhavan to Madhuvan Junction via Caculo Mall, Sheetal Hotel Junction to Madhuvan Junction and Rua De Ourem stretch road (Old Patto Bridge to Four Pillar Junction via New Patto Bride Junction).
