Digital Goa, June 2 – No further advance of Monsoon has been observed over the West coast & Karnataka, informed IMD. Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some parts of northwest & northeast Bay of Bengal and some parts of Mizoram, Manipur & Nagaland, IMD added. Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest monsoon into some more parts of north Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of northeastern states and SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during next 2-3 days, IMD stated furtehr.
Rain and thundershowers very likely at scattered places over North and South Goa districts on 2nd, 3rd and 6th June and at isolated places on 4th and 5th June, informed IMD. Warning has been issued for 2nd June of lightning and winds gusting to around 40kmph at isolated places over both districts, the release further adds.
