Digital Goa, June 19 – The monsoon, which reached Goa five days late, is yet to pick up pace. Monsoon has been very weak last fortnight resulting into 44 percent deficit till today. 298.7 mm rain has been reported till date as against the normal rainfall during this period is 533 mm. Maximum rainfall recorded this month is 69.6 mm on June 12. Total 35.2 mm rain was recorded in the last 24 hours in Goa. IMD has forecasted heavy rain in few places in Goa in the next few days.
