Digital Goa, June 10 – Major fire broke out at Curti, Ponda near Housing board ground yesterday night after PVC pipes kept in open space caught fire . Four fire tenders, 3 from Ponda and one from Kundaim had to be called in to douse the fire. The intensity of the fire was so severe that it took firemen 2 hours to extinguish the fire. Locals informed that the pipes were lying in that place for past several years. Cause of fire is not yet known. No one has been injured in the incident.
