Major crackdown on all illegal massage parlours across Goa from tomorrow, says CM

Digital Goa, May 5 – Goa Police will crack down on all illegal massage parlours in the state operating without permissions from tomorrow. CM Pramod Sawant announced this after visiting Calangute beach on the occasion of World Environment Day. “Only registered Spa will be allowed to operate and no cross massage will be allowed. The concerned police station in-charge will be responsible for closing down illegal massage parlours and the concerned PI will be held responsible if any such illegal activity is found henceforth”, said Sawant. He further said that that all tourist activities in the beach belt will have to compulsorily register with the respective police station. This is done to stop illegal activities in beach belt, he said. A mobile App will be soon launched for the tourists for online registration of complaints concerning crimes happening in tourist belt. he further said that additional police stations will be established and additional staff in the existing police station will be deployed to control criminal activities like drugs, prostitution etc. Touts, Hawkers, private security will be totally banned from the beach areas to make Goa’s world famous beaches safer for tourist, he further said.
