Digital Goa, June 7 –The Expert Committee on Covid will meet on June 9 to review the pandemic situation in the state, informed committee member Dr Shekhar Salkar. “There is nothing to panic at the moment as Covid is well under control in the state. We may have to make masks compulsory if the positivity rate crosses 10 percent”, he said. There is extremely rare possibility of serious complications in children after getting infected by Covid, he added. Expert Committee meeting on June 9 which will be chaired by GMC Dean Dr Bandekar will take stock of the covid situation and recommend requisite measures. Presently positivity rate is hovering somewhere around 4 to 7 %.
