Digital Goa, June 19 – Much talked about elections of Goa Dairy Milk Union was held in Curti Ponda today. 37 candidates are in the fray for 12 posts. Near hundred percent voting was reported with Presidents of various milk societies across the state coming in large numbers to exercise their voting right. Three panels namely Madhav Sahakari panel, Rajesh Phaldesai panel and Shrikant Naik panel are contesting the elections to control Goa’s leading milk processing unit. The Goa Dairy has been dogged by various controversies in recent times with number of petitions pending in various courts.
