Digital Goa, June 16 – Industries, Trade and Commerce Minister Mauvin Godinho today released the draft of the new Industrial policy for the state – “Goa Industrial Growth and Promotion policy 2022”. The policy will be open for scrutiny and suggestions by public and industries upto the ensuing assembly session, he added. Mauvin further said that the focus sectors of the new policy will be Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) reforms, land related reforms, incentives for existing, local and new business etc. The minister assured that due provisions will be made in the policy to ensure that effective and time bound Single Window Clearance mechanisms are in put in place for the convenience of the existing industries as well those planning to set shops in Goa. For bigger industries maximum time for granting permissions will be 3 months and for smaller units it will be 2 months, he asserted. “One single application will be forwarded to all the departments. Investment promotion board will be empowered for change of land use,” said Mauvin. The policy has provisions of incentives for local employment generation, he added,
