Congress slams Goa govt for high court rap on panchayat polls

Digital Goa, June 29 – Congress has come down heavily on the state govt fiasco as regard to panchayat elections. GPCC President Amit Patkar said that the High Court order directing the govt to hold panchayat elections immediately has exposed the govt. Govt has failed in governance and people are forced to approach courts for seeking justice. He charged the panchayat minister of having vested interest in postponing the elections by giving some flimsy reasons.
