Digital Goa, June 21 – Anganwadis in the state which were closed since the outbreak of covid pandemic in 2020, will be restarted from July 1. “In accordance with Covid appropriate behaviour and norms, we have decided to restart all Anganwadis in the state from July 1, 2022,” announced Women and Child Development Minister Vishwajeet Rane. The decision to restart Anganwadis has been taken in consultation with the center, he added. “We shall keep a strict vigil and also ensure that a doctor conducts regular visits to these anganwadis for thorough monitoring,” Rane said further.
