Incidentally, in an interview to local media, Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho lamented that hardly six to ten thousand people in taxi business are holding nearly 45 lakh people – 15 lakh locals and around 30 lakh tourists to ransom. “As per central policy if Ola -Uber comes to Goa, which will happen sooner or later, they won’t bring taxis from outside.
