Digital Goa, May 19 – RFO on duty has been suspended, DCF has been served show cause notice and suspension of ex-DCF has been recommended for failing to stop hill cutting in Vagheri Hills, informed Forest Minister Vishwajeet Rane. “RFO on duty Vivek Gaonkar has been suspended for failing to stop hill cutting in Vagheri Hills and DCF Santosh Fadte has been served with show cause notice for his failure to stop work for illegal hill cutting as directed by Goa Forest Dept under Goa Preservation of Trees Act, 1984,” informed Rane. I have also recommended suspension of the then DCF on file, he added.
