Digital Goa, May 18 – IMD has issued yellow alert for Goa during next three days. With the increase in moisture inflow, increase in rainfall activity is very likely over Goa on May 19 & 20. Heavy rainfall (64.5 – 115.5 mm of rainfall in 24 hours) is very likely at a few places over the North & South Goa districts on 19th May and at isolated places on 20th May. Winds of speed 0-40kmph also is very likely. “Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over North Goa & South Goa districts on 18th &19th May. Fishermen are advised not to venture along and off Kerala-Karnataka coasts on 18th and south Maharashtra-Goa coast on 19th&20th May”, IMD release says.
