Digital Goa, May 19 – Adequate reforms will be introduced in governance to facilitate Ease of Doing Business(EODB), CM Sawant assured Industry leaders today and urged them to help the govt boost the primary sector in the state. Sawant interacted with the Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry(GCCI) today.
CM assured the industry that the govt will remove multiplicity of various licenses, implement Public Service Delivery Act, facilitate accreditation of local hotels and public event venues under EODB. Sawant said that Grievance Redressal Committee will be set up to facilitate co-ordination between govt and industry. He also assured expediting formation of Retail Policy and Goa-centric Logistic policy.CM also said that Goa govt is in dialog with Telangana govt to adopt their industrial model in the state.
Mormugao Port connectivity to be completed within 6 to 9 months
Mormugao port connectivity will be completed within the next 6-9 months. This will be part of the multimodal linkage under the Gati Shakti Programme & modernization of infrastrcuture. Government is also working with the Centre to solve the container issue in Mormugao Port
