Certificates not issued online on time will be considered deemed approved – Tourism Minister Khaunte

Digital Goa, May 2 – In order to ensure that the stipulated time frame is followed by the department in compliance with the Right to Time Bound Service act, if certificates and permissions applied for are not issued online within the given timeframe then they will be considered as deemed approved, informed Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte today.

He also said that while accepting online applications of different types from Tourism related businesses, government will follow “Trust our Goemkar” concept and the registration and other processes will be done by trusting the documents which will be uploaded online by the applicant. “The documents will later be certified at the time of site inspection,” he added. He was speaking at the launch of online services on Goa govt portals www.goaonline.gov.in and www.goatourism.gov.in for Tourism related businesses.
