Digital Goa, Mar 30 – The focus of my budget is on Swayampurna Goa 2.0, employment generation, mining and ease of doing business, said CM Pramod Sawant after the presentation of budget. There has been hike of 12 percent in the allocation to health sector, he said. “The pension for senior citizens and widows will be increased soon. Even the salary of sarpanch and panchas will be increased in the near future”, he said. With the implementation of National Education Policy, all pre primary schools will have to get themselves registered with govt in order to track students at every level. All the temples demolished or in dilapidated condition will be restored to commence cultural tourism, he added. When asked about what kind of amendments will be made in the gambling Act,as mentioned in the budget, he said it will be known only when it is actually done.
