Digital Goa, Mar 20 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a meeting with Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda in New Delhi to discuss the ongoing exercise for government formation in the four states -Goa, UP, Uttarakhand and Manipur where the BJP came back to power in the recently concluded Assembly elections. The party is yet to officially name its chief ministers for three of these states – Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Uttarakhand – even after 10 days of the poll results giving the BJP a clear majority in all these states and several rounds of consultations. Earlier in the day, the BJP has nominated N Biren Singh as the chief minister of Manipur.
