Digital Goa, Mar 24 – Old and New Mandovi bridge will be closed for vehicular traffic for one hour each on Saturday, March 26 morning. “Office of District Magistrate, North Goa has requested closure of Old Mandovi bridge for vehicular traffic on 26-3-2022 from 6:30 am to 7:30 am and New Mandovi bridge from 7.30 am to 8.30 am for the purpose of inspection and recording of deck levels of the bridge,” states the order issued in this regards today. During the closure of new Mandovi bridge, light vehicular traffic shall be allowed on Old Mandovi Bridge (both ways) and heavy vehicular traffic shall be diverted through third Mandovi bridge (Atal Setu) and during the closure of Old Mandovi Bridge vehicular traffic shall be allowed on New Mandovi Bridge(both ways) and 3rd Mandovi Bridge(Atal Setu).
