Digital Goa, Mar 28 – Goa government today issued an order under Goa Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA), prohibiting strike in any form in all Transport Services for the carriage of passengers or goods by land or water, with immediate effect. “The order shall be valid for a period of six months from the date of issue,” states the order. Central trade unions today began a two-day nationwide strike to protest against the government’s alleged wrong policies that are affecting farmers, workers and people.
