Digital Goa, March 8 – To prevent horse trading and the repeat of the 2017 fiasco, the Congress party has asked its candidates to stay in a hotel until results are announced. The Congress candidates have already started arriving in the city hotel with their luggage. All senior state office bearers, P Chidambaram, Dinesh Gundu Rao etc are also present in the hotel. Karnataka Congress President DK Shivkumar and one Maharashtra minister is also deputed in Goa to assist the team to ensure that their candidates are not lured by BJP and Congress makes a quick move to stake claim to form govt in the state.
