Chandor youth working as store clerk in Houston, Texas shot dead by burglar during attempted robbery

Digital Goa, Mar 21 – John Dias, a 27-year-old youth from Chandor who was working as a store clerk in Houston, Texas, USA was shot dead by a burglar during an attempted robbery at the store where he was working, on Sunday morning as per local time. He had gone to USA nearly 3 years back and was the sole bread earner of the family. Chandor villagers have demands intervention from Goa government regarding the matter. Dias was a footballer and used to play for Chandor and Guirdolim football clubs.
