Digital Goa, Mar 30 – Opposition benches have termed the budget presented by CM Sawant as old wine in new bottle. Speaking to media, Cong MLA Digambar Kamat said there is no innovativeness or good projects in the budget. This budget is prepared by rehashing old budgets. No efforts are made to address pressing issues like acute water shortage, unemployment in the budget. Only 44% announcements of last budget are fulfilled, he said. He also pointed out that this budget is expecting to receive over Rs 5000 cr from Centre while Central budget has allocated only Rs 3,152 in its budget for Goa. AAP said the budget speech of Goa CM was loaded with budget allocations for projects. It was a selling of dream to people of Goa who are already stressed & overburdened with spiraling prices of essential goods.
