Digital Goa, Mar 16 – While there are reports in section of national media about green signal given by PM Modi to the chief ministership of Pramod Sawant, BJP leaders including Sawant are tight lipped on the subject. “I had come here for a courtesy visit to PM and the announcement of CM candidate will be made by the Central observers after Holi,” said Pramod Sawant this evening. BJP Goa incharge Devendra Fadavnis also refused to confirm the decision to hand over CM post to Sawant. “There is no rebellion by Vishwajeet Rane for CM post. He is loyal soldier of BJP. We had review of election results and the decision on CM and cabinet will be announced after Holi,” he added. There are confirmed reports that BJP has finalised the candidate for CM post as well as ministers to be inducted in the cabinet. The official announcement will be made shortly.
