Digital Goa, Feb 4- Stating that the real fight in Goa is between Congress and BJP, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi urged people not to waste their vote by casting their vote for other party candidates. “The reality is that the fight in Goa is between the Congress and the BJP, rest of the political parties are not in the race,that is why do not waste your votes by voting for any other political party,” Gandhi said at the NIRDHAR virtual rally in CM Pramod Sawant’s constituency Sakhali.
40 Congress – Goa Forward alliance candidates take pledge of loyalty
Meanwhile, all 40 Candidates from Congress – Goa Forward Party alliance took Pledge Of Loyalty to stay united and Loyal to their party and not to defect. Candidates signed an affidavit and took the pledge in the presence of Rahul Gandhi at ICG, Donapaula.
Congress promises monthly Rs 6000 financial assistance to poor families, 30 % reservation for women
Gandhi also released parties manifesto titled “Roadmap for Goa Vision 2035”. The manifesto promises policies to promote uniform development across Goa, a scheme named Mayencho Haat under Pan India NYAY Scheme of Congress party providing Rs 6000 assistance per month to every poor family, 30 % reservation for women in jobs , free preventive healthcare etc.
