Digital Goa, Feb 15 – Goa is amongst first three states in the country to achieve near 100% coverage of Covid -19 vaccination to its eligible population above 18 years, informed Directorate of Health Services. After completing the vaccination campaign for 1 year and 30 days, State of Goa has achieved 100% coverage of 1 st dose of Covid-19 vaccine and is very close to achieving 100% of 2 nd dose of Covid-19 vaccine with 99.93% coverage as on February 15, 2022.
87% children in 15 to 18 years age group vaccinated with first dose
Covid-19 vaccination of children aged 15 to 18 years has also attained a significant coverage of 87% of 1 st dose and 64% of 2 nd dose of the vaccine.
