Digital Goa, Feb 15 – Crime Branch has arrested one Kenneth Silveira in alleged fraudulent property transfer case registered in 2018, involving land at Casarvanem, Pernem. It is also alleged that Silveira claimed compensation worth Rs 49.83 lakh from the govt after the land was acquired for Mopa airport. Sileveira on his part has said, “I am surrendering myself in crime branch today giving myself to the crime branch to once for all investigate me for which I will give them full co-operation as always.”
