Digital Goa, Feb 22 – Alleging that there is large amount of corruption in recruitment process in the police department, Goa Congress has demanded that the process be stalled. “Let new Government take appropriate decision in the matter,” said GPCC President Girish Chodankar in his letters to Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) – Goa, Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police(DGP). Congress has also urged the Election commission of India, not to grant permission for continuation of the recruitment process while the code of conduct is in force in the state. Congress has also warned that if the process is not stopped forthwith then the party will move the High Court seeking necessary action.
