Digital Goa, Feb 2- Keeping mass defection precedents set by Goan MLAs in mind, political parties are resorting to innovative methods to build confidence in voters that their candidates will not defect after being elected. Aam Admi Party(AAP) candidates who will be contesting the 2022 polls on behalf of the party today signed an affidavit and took a pledge that they remain loyal to the party and work honestly if elected. “All of our candidates are honest but this affidavit is needed to assure voters that these candidates are honest,” said AAP Supremo and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. A few days back Congress had taken their candidates to religious places and made them take a pledge.
