Digital Goa, Feb 20 – Nearly 77 % of the school students are not satisfied with the knowledge they have gained from online teaching learning process, states a survey done by a group of researchers in Goa. Inputs from 10,027 students from across Goa in the 10 to 16 age group studying in 5 th to 10 th standard were taken for the survey. The survey studied the impact of Covid-19 and challenges faced by the school students and was initiated by Keerti Vidyalaya, Siolim. The survey further pointed out that several health related issues were reported by the students including headache(17 % ), sleep related issues(21 %), neck related issues (17 %) etc. The survey has suggested several measures including training for teachers, hybrid mode of teaching learning, remedial classes, health checkups , counseling for students etc to bridge the learning gap introduced due to closure of schools in physical mode for 2 long years.
