Digital Goa, Jan 21 – Son of Manohar Parrikar ,Utpal Parrikar has finally announced that he will contest from Panaji constituency as an Independent. Upset over denial of ticket by BJP in Panaji constituency, which was nurtured by his father for almost 30 years, Utpal today announced that he will contest against the official BJP candidate Babush Monserrate. “I am giving an honest, educated choice to the people of Goa. I am ashamed about the reputation of the BJP candidate from Panaji”, he said. Utpal will also resign from primary membership of BJP.
