Digital Goa, Jan 27 – Congress has fulfilled the promise given to people by denying tickets to defectors and giving maximum tickets to fresh and young faces, says GPCC President Girish Chodankar. Speaking to media, Chodankar said that 80 percent of Congress candidates are fresh faces. Only 6 out of 37 candidates have been MLAs before. Half of the candidates are contesting for the first time and the average age of candidates is 48 years, he said. He also announced that the Congress will expose a huge mining scam involving CM Pramod Sawant and other ministers in the next few days.
