Digital Goa, Dec 22 – The 900 mm pipeline supplying water to Tiswadi Taluka, which was damaged during drilling work by Electricity Department at Bhoma will be repaired by 1 am tonight and water supply to entire Tiswadi Taluka will resume by tomorrow morning, assured PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar today. “We tried to do patchwork on the hole made on the pipeline due to the drilling, but it did not last long. The entire 6 mtr pipe had to be replaced,” he informed. Meanwhile large number of people from Cortalim also gathered near the PWD valve along with local MLA Francis Silveira over frequent disruptions in water supply. People of Tiswadi have been facing acute shortage since last night.
