Digital Goa, Dec 10 – Exactly a month after joining the Congress Party, Gupesh Naik, Deepraj Naik, Narayan Naik, Candelario Pinto etc who are supporters of Independent MLA from Porvorim, Rohan Khaunte resigned from the party. In a letter to GPCC President dated Dec 9, they said that they would like to submit their resignation from the primary and active membership of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee with immediate effect. They had joined Congress with much fanfare on Nov 9,2021. This move of Rohan’s supporters is likely indication that the MLA might have dropped his earlier plans of joining the Congress party.
