Digital Goa, Dec 28 – Senior Congressman and Poriem MLA Pratapsing Rane today once again hinted at taking retirement from electoral politics. Speaking at the Foundation Day function of Congress party in the city today, Rane said that he wishes to hang his shoes after completing 50 years in the Assembly. “I feel like taking rest now. I should give way to young blood”, he said addressing a gathering of Congress workers. However, he said that Congress is in his blood and he cannot think of quitting the party. Last week, his son and Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane had warned that he would contest and defeat his father if Sr Rane insists on contesting in Poriem constituency.
